MEET THE TEAM
5 Star rating on Trusted Practitioner.
A team of dedicated foot and ankle specialists.
We are a team of dedicated Foot and Ankle Specialists, brought together by owner and founder Ben Haythornthwaite.
The aim of the clinic is to bring under one roof, the best available techniques, technologies and care available, whether that be for simple foot care needs or extremely complex chronic conditions.
We are a specialist centre with a local and national reputation.
We are located in Darlington, close to the private BMI Woodlands hospital, to enable easy access to the most people across the north, as it is in the middle of the northern triangle of the major cities/conurbations of Leeds, Newcastle, York and Teesside, close to the A1(M) motorway, and minutes from a mainline train station.
Ben graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Podiatry from New College Durham. He has since undergone post graduate training at Northampton General hospital with a leading podiatric surgeon and is continually undertaking further courses to keep up to date with the latest developments.
Before training to be a podiatrist Ben was an Engineer and Architect. This wealth of experience relating to structures and how forces act through an object, has allowed him to excel in the understanding of podiatric biomechanics and how our body reacts to forces and pressures placed upon it.
Ben is passionate about podiatry and is proud to have appeared on BBC radio as their Podiatry Expert, and also to have been a podiatrist on the official London Marathon medical team.
